Rasputina's 'How We Quit the Forest' Findings.

image via Amazon.com.

For those who are fans of Rasputina, you should know that How We Quit the Forest album has been out of print for who knows how long and is super rare to find, but finally, there are three-ish ways to get the album if you haven't bought it when it first came out!

The cheapest way, for sure, is ordering the MP3 album off of Amazon.com. I have no idea how long this has been available in MP3 form, but it's only $9.99, so I would totally recommend this if you're just discovering this band and/or it's cheap. :)

Depending on the seller, you can get this off of Amazon.com used (rarely new) from $15 to $100. I have ordered a chunk of used cds on Amazon before, so I haven't been ripped off...yet! I would highly recommend checking their positive percentage rating. I normally go for 98% to 100%, but it's up to you.

The reason I say three-ish is because supposedly, there is a limited edition release of this album, and on occasion, I see this on eBay, so if you're a hardcore fan, keep looking for it!

Lastly, you can own the album brand new off of JpopHelp.com. I have ordered from this site before (mostly Utada albums), so it is trust worthy, but this album is a little pricey...$36.94. I might buy it soon since I love Rasputina, so it's worth it for me. Shipping isn't that bad either. Depending how much you order, but for me, it's been about 4 to 7 bucks.

Check out the music video, The Olde Headboard, from this album (won't let me embed)!

New 'HerCut' at Sephora!

I've never seen a hair line like this before. It's a line of styling products specifically for your 'hair cut' type. The only thing I'm afraid of is that it's going to be too thick and messy. I normally use hair styling products that are specific for my hair type, but I'm willing to try anything new!

Here's what they got:

My 'hair cut' type would be The Bob since I have an angled bob/bangs cut. I love that look with the blunt bangs, or even V bangs, but I have an oval face and it would look a tad bit silly on me. It'll make my nose look gazillion times bigger than it is!

Upcoming Reviews.

Finally, right? Been some what busy preparing for the move back to my home town and planning what's going to happen to me and my husband's future (meaning if he's going to get in the army or not). I have more time now since my hours are cut dramatically at work (joy), so sometime this and next week, I'll post some reviews up.

Makeup
Hard Candy: Sheer Lip Gloss in Drama Queen, Lipstick in Kitten, Take Me Out Eyeliner Pencil in Soy (black), and Nobody's Perfect Concealer Palette.

Napoleon Perdis
: The Divine Marchesa Eyeshadow Quad.

Make Up For Ever
: HD Invisible Cover Foundation in 107 Pink.

Illamasqua: Rich Liquid Foundation in RF 105.

theBalm
: Sexy Mama Anti-Shine Translucent Powder.

Urban Decay
: Surreal Skin Mineral Makeup in Universal (translucent).

Cover FX: Total Coverage Cream Foundation SPF 30 in E0 Porcelain.

Sephora's Kat Von D: True Romance Eyeshadow Palette in Gypsy.

Paula Dorf: Special Camouflage Concealer.

Hair
Sexy Hair: StraightSexyHair Smooth and Protect.

TIGI: Rockaholic Leave-In Detangler & Defrizzer.

Kenra: Platinum Smoothing Cream & Platinum Detangler for Fine/Thin Hair.

I have tons of shampoos and conditioners to review, (I work in a hair shop), but I don't know if I want to give out my opinion to everyone since most people do not have my hair type. Unless you have fine/thin color-ish hair (I've been just doing highlights since it's cheaper), then let me know and I'll give out my opinion! :)

Again, I work in a hair salon (I'm not a stylist yet!), and what customers usually ask if they have insanely thick/coarse hair, I recommend the two: Biolage Ultra-Hydrating Shampoo or Kenra Platinum Shampoo for Thick/Coarse Hair. Kenra I recommend the most since it's sulfate free and it's for a specific hair type. I use this line for fine/thin hair, and I love it. It is a tad bit pricey, but you don't need a lot to get the job done. :)

Skincare
C.O. Bigelow's Rose Salve vs. Rosebud Perfume Company's Rosebud Salve.

I don't normally give skincare reviews since everybody's skin is different. We may have similar skin type, mine is combination/oily, but it may react differently on your skin than mine. Maybe I'll post eventually what I use soon.

Oh, all of these products I've bought myself. I don't have a contract with a company or anything like that. I'll say it in each of my reviews, but wanted to say this in advance...just in case. :)

A Flat Iron that Adjusts the Heat By Your Hair Type?

Apparently, just by clicking your hair type on the flat/curling iron, it's adjusts the heat so it wont fry your hair. I really like this idea since most flat irons, like the CHI (ugh, I spit at the CHI!), burns my hair since mine is insanely fine, but currently, I'm using the GHD (loving it so far!), so when that finally bits the dust, I'll buy the Belson's smart heat™ 1" Professional Straightening Iron. Right now, you can get it at Sally's for $59.99 or $54.99 if you're part of their rewards program. Hey, not all cheap flat irons are bad!

Disney Villains and MAC?!

According to Glossy Kiss, this collection will be coming out sometime in 2010, and guess who will be working on it with MAC? Vivienne Westwood.

...WANT.

Check out her blog, now!

OPI Alice in Wonderland Collection!

Yeah, I'm going to be insanely broke this fall. ;P

OPI X Alice in Wonderland
When January and February find you buried in a mountain of cupids and hearts, OPI and Disney will take you Underland to a world of wild imagination and color. It’s Fantastical! OPI ties in with the Disney release of Tim Burton’s Alice in Wonderland – one of its biggest movies of the year featuring an all-star cast including Johnny Depp (as the Mad Hatter)!

Off with Her Red! – A glowing, empowering hot red
The Red Queen: Cruel ruler of Underland, she cuts off the heads of those who disagree with her. She would rather be feared than loved.

Absolutely Alice - An absolutely amazing blue glitter
Alice Kingsley: Beautiful but slightly off-kilter, sees the world differently than most. In the Rabbit Hole, she seeks to write her own destiny.

Mad as a Hatter
– A madly marvelous black-multi glitter
The Mad Hatter: Formerly the White Queen’s hatter. Now, he is part of the Underland Resistance and driven to madness by guilt.

Thanks So Muchness! - For this ”much-have” red shimmer
And lastly…; As if the tale was not adventurous enough, one more shade to color your own Underland over and over.

FTC's New Law.

Apparently, this goes for bloggers as well, so I have to state, by December 1st, if I bought the products myself, started a contract with a company to receive certain products, or I received a certain product as a sample (like on Sephora.com...3 samples or whatever) or I'll get a $11,000 fine. Yeesh.

For now on, I'm going to state every upcoming review if I did any of the following three above right after I reviewed the product. All the products I review I buy myself. I've never received any from a company to try out. I think I'll be fine since I always state if I bought it on my own or if I received this a a gift from a friend.

Anything else I post, especially lately, is I post new products that are out. I'm not paid to say what's coming out or anything like that. I post them since I really want the item and I can/cannot afford it since I have nothing better to do.

Dita 'Stripteese' Flip Book!

Yeah, looks like I'm going to have to buy this. It's already available in the UK, but not in the states, but you can ore-order it on Amazon! I think on Amazon, it's cheaper to pre-order the item rather than waiting for it to come out that day. I might pre-order the flip book with her previous book. Yeah, I know, I don't own it yet, so bite me. Any who, right now it's $19.80,so I might pre-order this Friday since that's when I get paid. Woot. Go me. ;P

Chanel's Noirs Obscurs Collection.

Finally, Chanel is in the dark color bandwagon! Awesomeness. So expensive, but it's Chanel. C'mon.

Napoleon Perdis's Divine Marchesa Collection.

I bought the eyeshadow quad at Ulta, but they didn't have the nail polish! I don't care if it's just black; the packaging is cool! :D I didn't buy the foundation spray since it was to dark for my skin and it was way too shimmery for my face (no good for my oily-ish/combination skin). I'll do a review for the quad soon. :)

For those who knows me, you know why I want this collection. I love anything inspired retro/1920s/Victorian. This collection was inspired by Marchesa Luisa Castai. Awesomeness. I really want the nail polish, but I would hate to pay shipping for a tiny bottle. Oh well. That's what I get for being a beauty junkie.

Foundation spray (5 shades) - $49.00
Eyeshadow Quad (4 shades) - $35.00
Black Sapphire Nail Color - $10.00 MINE!!! Just the little things.
